“Alex Morgan has changed my life in that it makes playing soccer so much more fun when you got a partner in crime. She’s got the speed that I’ve lost in the last couple years getting older, she’s got the power and I’m the brain at this point. I’m the one that’s directing her and telling her how to play the game and what’s what and it just makes my life easier because other defenses are focused their attention on her. So for me, it has just brought back so much passion and love of the game. Now I get to hand over the reins at some point and developing that, and creating the culture, and being a leader, and handing those reins over has been fun.
